Texas senator Ted Cruz has defended remarks he made in a speech at the
Republican party convention.
Cruz failed to endorse the party's nominee Donald Trump and told
people to vote with their conscious at the general election.
The speech received a chorus of boos and Cruz's wife had to be
escorted off the convention floor.
