The Obama administration is welcoming the decision by the U.S. Supreme Court to strike down a Texas law on women's health clinics.
The regulations forced the closure of many Texas clinics which provided abortions, and the nation's highest court found this was an undue burden.
At the White House, Principal Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz said this ruling is in keeping with U.S. President Barack Obama's belief that a woman should have the right to make decisions about her own body.
