Tory MP Stephen Crabb launches UK leadership campaign

The UK Conservative Cabinet Member Stephen Crabb has become the first to announce he is running as a candidate to become the next British Prime Minister.

In a speech in Central London, the Work and Pensions Secretary said uniting the country is his main priority, following the EU referendum result which he says has left the country 'divided'.

The bid for a new UK leader was launched when Prime Minister David Cameron announced he would resign following the Brexit vote.
