Sturgeon determined to find way for Scotland to stay part of EU

Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon says she is determined to try to find a way to keep Scotland inside the EU following the UK's Brexit vote,  after a series of meetings in Brussels.

Ms Sturgeon says she's had a sympathetic response after  explaining Scotland's position to European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and others.   Scotland voted to stay as part of the European Union, while the majority of people in the UK as a whole, voted to leave the block.

The Scottish leader said that if there was a way for Scotland to remain part of the EU, she would explore those options, and that includes a second referendum on independence from the UK.
