Authorities in Orlando are confirming the gunman that killed dozens of people at a popular gay nightclub early Sunday had pledged allegiance to ISIS.
Orlando Police Chief John Mina told reporters Monday that Omar Mateen spoke with 9-1-1 operators and pledged his allegiance to the terror group.
Mateen was later killed in a shootout with SWAT officers at the Pulse nightclub
