U.S. efforts to reduce the threat of Islamic State militants have not reduced the group's capability and global reach- that's according to CIA Director John Brennan, testifying on Capitol Hill.
He said while the extremist group has lost ground in Iraq and Syria, its ability to recruit, strike targets outside the region, and inspire lone wolf attacks, has grown.
