"Britain First" party denies any association with attack on UK lawmaker

The radical British political party "Britain First" is condemning an attack on a member of Parliament  who is in critical condition in hospital after a shooting in the north of the country.

All campaigning in Britain's EU Referendum has been postponed after Jo Cox was stabbed and shot in her Parliamentary district.

Unconfirmed reports suggest her attacker shouted the phrase "Britain First" after the shooting.

"Britain First" is a nationalist party campaigning for Britain to leave the EU.

Jayda Fransen, the party's deputy leader, denied any association with the attack.
