Police in Florida now say 50 people were killed in a shooting attack on an Orlando nightclub that catered for the city's lesbian and gay community.
Another 53 people are suffering from gunshot wounds in hospital.
The gunman was killed by police after carrying out the worst mass shooting in American history.
