Servicemen from the US-led coalition in Iraq have been seen near the front line in a new offensive aiming to retake territory east of Mosul, currently held by the so-called Islamic State.
That's according to the Reuters news agency, whose correspondent saw the soldiers loading armoured vehicles outside a village a few miles from the front line.
