NC Law "state-sponsored discrimination" - US Justice Dept.

The U.S. Justice Department is suing the state of North Carolina over it's law to police the use of bathrooms.

The law essentially required all persons to use the bathroom that matched their gender at birth, regardless of how they express their gender now.

U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch says the law simple enshrines discrimination.
