Far-right German party adopts anti-Islamic platform

Germany's far-right AfD party adopted an openly anti-Islamic platform at their annual congress, calling for a ban on Muslim symbols like the public call to prayer.

The country has seen a sharp rise in its Muslim population with the arrival of over a million refugees last year.
