The European Union is set to open the door for visa-free travel for Turkish citizens as part of a deal between the two sides to tackle the migration crisis.
Brussels is believed to be broadly content with the measures Turkey has implemented to meet EU conditions for visa liberalization despite strong opposition from many lawmakers.
