Criminal probe launched over gorilla incident in Cincinnati

Police in the American city of Cincinnati say they've opened a criminal inquiry into how a 4 year old boy fell into a gorilla enclosure at the city's zoo.

A 17 year-old endangered lowland gorilla was shot dead by zookeepers in a move that has been condemned by animal lovers.
