BREXIT TALKS 'COULD TAKE YEARS'

If Britain votes to leave the European Union, exit negotiations with Brussels could take years to complete.

That's according to the EU Committee at the UK's House of Lords.

It says trade negotiations and the rights of the two million UK expats who live in the EU would be particularly complicated to settle.

Britain votes on its EU membership in a referendum on 23rd June.

Lord Boswell chairs the EU Committee and says Britons who live elsewhere in the EU are right to be concerned over their rights.
