New York Times Faces Discrimination Lawsuit

The chief executive of the New York Times, Mark Thompson, is facing a multimillion dollar class action lawsuit alleging that he introduced a culture of 'discrimination' at the newspaper.

The case claims that Mr. Thompson, a former Director General of the BBC, preferentially favoured younger, whiter staff at the expense of older female and black employees.
