EPL CLUBS DENY DOPING LINKS

English Premier League clubs are denying wrongdoing after doping allegations were made by the Sunday Times newspaper.

The paper says it secretly filmed a private doctor, Mark Bonar, claiming to have prescribed banned drugs to elite UK sports professionals including premier league players.

The Sunday Times admits it has no independent evidence that Mr Bonar did actually treat top-flight footballers or other athletes with medicine banned by sporting bodies.

And UK correspondent Olly Barratt says clubs being linked to the story are responding forcefully.
