An inquest in Britain has ruled that 96 Liverpool soccer fans who died in a stadium disaster in 1989 were "unlawfully killed".
The decision has been greeted with relief by relatives of those who perished in the Hillsborough stadium in April 1989.
The ruling came after two years of evidence showed the authorities failed to take action to prevent a crush at the stadium, and then attempted to cover up what had occurred.
