The U.N. Security Council has unanimously approved a set of tough sanctions against North Korea in response to its recent nuclear and missile tests.
The sanctions were drafted jointly by the United States and China, North Korea's closest ally.
Among the requirements is that all cargo ships and aircraft be inspected before entering or leaving the country.
