Polls Open in US ‘Super Tuesday’ Vote

Americans in twelve different states are voting for candidates from either the Republican or Democrat parties, as part of the contest to decide who should be nominated to run for the presidency in November.

The so-called 'Super Tuesday' voting, from Vermont in the East to Texas and Georgia in the South, is seen as an important moment in the race for the White House.
