Twelve Countries Sign Trans Pacific Partnership

Twelve countries have formally signed the ambitious Trans Pacific Partnership at a ceremony in New Zealand.

The trade deal  --- known as the TPP -- is meant to facilitate trade and investment between the signatories across the Pacific Rim.

Together they account for about 40 percent of the global economy.
