Trial begins of US Air Force veteran accused of supporting IS

A veteran of the United States Air Force has been charged with
attempting to join the self-proclaimed Islamic State.

Tairod Nathan Webster Pugh was detained in Turkey last year after
spending a year living in Egypt.
