Pres. Obama rejects Senate Republican obstructions over Supreme Court nominee

U.S. President Barack Obama is continuing to review possible nominees for the U.S. Supreme Court to fill the seat now open following the death of the Justice Antonin Scalia.

The majority of the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee have indicated, there's no need for a nominee because they refuse to hold a hearing into their qualifications.

U.S. President Barack Obama rejects this:

IN: "Hope and expectation...
OUT: ...qualified or not."
DUR: 26

U.S. President Barack Obama, a former constitutional law professor, says everyone needs to understand the facts, that no where in the U.S. Constitution does it even suggest there is precedent for not putting forth a nomination for the U.S. Supreme Court until after a new president is elected.

IN: "its not in....
OUT: ...stop doing it."
