EU leaders meet in Brussels as migrant crisis dominates

European Union ministers are meeting in Brussels to discuss the migrant crisis amid warnings the issue could fracture the block.

EU Justice and Home Affairs ministers are meeting and will hear plans from Austria and eight Balkan countries to fingerprint migrants and turn away those without passports.

Some EU countries are also only accepting Syrians and Iraqis while the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia has blocked entry to Afghans causing thousands to be stranded in Greece.
