UN Secretary-General "unequivocally" condemns North Korea nuclear test

The United Nations Secretary-General says he "unequivocally" condemns
the alleged nuclear test by North Korea.

He was speaking as the UN Security Council held an emergency meeting
to look at possible responses.

If confirmed the test would violate UN resolutions and sanctions
against the country.

Ban Ki-moon said he was very concerned by the news.
