Polish media crackdown condemned by press freedom groups

A joint complaint has been launched by a coalition of press freedom groups against new reforms to clamp down on the media in Poland.

The Polish government rushed through a series of laws at the end of December which remove the guarantees for independence of public TV and radio stations.
