Russian lawmakers mull over death penalty for terrorists

Russian lawmakers propose toughening punishments for terrorist and their accomplices. A bill introducing death penalty for organizing or abetting terrorism was presented to Parliament. Another initiative suggests extending a list of terrorists groups to include a Turkish ultra-right youth organization. The measures come amid increasing tensions between Moscow and Ankara.
