Police kill two in Chicago, answers demanded

The families of two African Americans killed by police over the weekend in Chicago are demanding answers.

Police were responding to a domestic disturbance call when they opened fire, killing 55 year old Bettie Jones and 19 year old Quintonio LeGrier.

The Chicago Police Department says the officers confronted a "combative subject" prompting shots... but they've admitted the shooting of Bettie Jones was an accident.

This is just the latest of a string of high profile incidents involving the deaths of black Americans at the hands of the police.

Jacqueline Walker, a friend of Bettie Jones, questioned the police's actions.

OUT: "...innocent people.
DUR: 14 seconds

Janet Cooksey, mother of Quintonio LeGrier, said police violence needs to stop.
