No indictment in Tamir Rice case- Cleveland on edge

A white Cleveland police officer will not be charged over the death of a black twelve year old boy, Tamir Rice, who was shot dead just over a year ago while playing with a pellet gun.

Prosecutors said there was no way the officer and his partner could have known the gun was real, when they confronted the boy in November 2014.

The news comes amid heightened tensions over the latest fatal police shootings in Chicago- where protesters are calling for an immediate investigation.
