Former Australian PM Abbott enters Rhodes statue controversy

Former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott has urged Oxford University not to remove a statue of the 19th century colonialist Cecil Rhodes.  

The controversy follows a successful student-led campaign in South Africa to remove a prominent Rhodes statue from the University of Cape Town.
