Visa has announced it's set to buy its former subsidiary Visa Europe
in a deal set to cost up in the region of $23.3 billion.
The two units were separated in 2007 and the world's largest credit
and debit card company now hope this move will help them continue to
compete with rivals MasterCard.
William Denselow reports from New York.
