Russia hits Turkey with sanctions over downing of its fighter jet

Russia introduced a package of economic sanctions against Turkey in response to the downing of its fighter jet over Syria by Turkish air force last week. The punitive measures effect tourism, imports of food and other products made in Turkey as well as the end of visa-free travel for Turkish nationals.
