It's reported that the leader of the UK's opposition Labour Party is to grant his MPs a free vote on whether Britain should extend air strikes into Syria.
Prime Minister David Cameron wants to hold a vote in parliament on bombing Islamic State positions in Syria - the UK is currently only involved in air strikes in Iraq.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn opposes military action in Syria, but many of his MPs believe it should go ahead in the wake of the Paris attacks.
He's understood to be now offering a free vote, but has asked David Cameron to hold an extended two-day debate on the issue in the House of Commons.
UK correspondent Olly Barratt says the opposition is in disarray.
