US President Obama has admitted that the United States is partially to blame for the world's environmental problems, at a climate change summit in Paris.
The American president said he had come to Paris in person to tell the world community his administration is stepping up to the plate on the fight against global warming.
But Mr Obama faces an uphill struggle against climate-change skeptics at home.
