Deutsche Bank fined $258m for violating US sanctions

German company Deustche Bank willl pay a $285 million fine to the
United States Federal Reserve for failing to uphold US sanctions
against Syria and Iran.

The sum includes $200 million payable to the New York State Department
for infractions against state law.
