US GDP data misses estimates

The United States economy slowed sharply in the third quarter as
businesses cut back on restocking their warehouses.

Gross domestic product was up at a very healthy 3.9% last quarter but
according to the US Commerce Department, the economy in Q3 grew at a
sluggish annualized rate of 1.5%.

William Denselow reports from New York.
