Top US commander in Afghanistan says airstrike on hospital was "mistake" & US may need to boost troop numbers (WRAP)

The top US commander in Afghanistan has said an air strike on a hospital in the northern city of Kunduz was a mistake.

Speaking before the Senate Armed Forces Committee (Tuesday), General John Campbell also said that the US must consider boosting its military presence in Afghanistan after 2016.
