REPORT: GERMANY EXPECTS 1.5 MILLION REFUGEES THIS YEAR

A German newspaper reports that the country's government expects up to
one and a half million refugees this year, much higher than previous
estimates.

Chancellor Angela Merkel has been under increasing pressure lately as
a result of the crisis.
