Latino leaders protest outside GOP debate

Hundreds of protesters gathered near the Republican debate venue in Boulder, Colorado to protest what they called Donald Trump's racist comments about immigrants and especially Mexicans.

The protests were led by top leaders from the Latino community, including former U.S. Secretary of Transportation and Energy Federico Pena.

Pena called Trump's attitude towards Hispanics xenophobic:

IN: "I am tired of the anti-immigrant…"
OUT: "… no place in Colorado."
DUR: 19"

Meanwhile Colorado Lieutenant Governor Joe Garcia denounced the tone of Trump's comments on immigrants, saying the candidate has done nothing to elevate the political conversation:

IN: "Name-calling, whether it's against candidates or other Hispanics…"
OUT: "… civility and respect."
DUR: 18"
