Portugal's centre-right Prime Minister, Pedro Passos Coelho, has been reelected in an election that was widely seen as a referendum on four years of austerity.
Although Mr. Coelho is celebrating a victory, his coalition failed to win an absolute majority in the Portuguese parliament taking only 39 per cent of the vote.
