California Joins Handful of US States with Right to Die Law

California’s Governor has signed legislation to allow terminally ill patients to legally end their lives using doctor-prescribed drugs. 

The law takes effect next year and as Rachel Silverman reports, it follows an emotional and deeply personal debate.
