UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon is hosting a high level meeting this Wednesday on the issue of migration and refugee movements.
The gathering, on the sidelines of the General Assembly at UN Headquarters in New York, will cover refugee and human rights, people trafficking and smuggling.
It comes as Hungary's foreign minister proposed a global quota system to take in refugees.
