Edward Snowden criticizes Russia over internet freedom, gay rights

The former US intelligence employee Edward Snowden has criticized the Kremlin over its gay rights and internet freedom policies. The former spy wanted back home for leaking classified documents revealing the government's mass surveillance program was granted asylum in Russia in August 2013.
