Vladimir Putin says Bashar al-Assad is ready to hold parliamentary elections in war-torn country

Russian president Vladimir Putin says Syrian President Bashar al-Assad could share power with what he called "healthy" opposition and that the Syrian leader is ready to hold snap parliamentary elections in the country. Nearly half of Syria's population is displaced or made refugees by a bloody four-year conflict in the country, according to the UN. Anya Ardayeva reports from Moscow.
