A local county clerk in Kentucky has defied a direct order from the U.S. Supreme Court to issue marriage licenses to both opposite sex and same sex couples.
At the end of June, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled limiting marriage licenses to only man-woman couples was unequal and unconstitutional.
