BUDAPEST STATION REOPENS AS MIGRANT CRISIS DEEPENS

Budapest's Keleti railway station has re-opened to hundreds of migrants and refugees camped around it, but without direct trains running to western Europe.

There have been chaotic scenes at the station despite the lack of train services out of Hungary.

Many of the refugees have fled fighting in Syria and are attempting to travel onwards to countries like Austria and Germany to seek asylum.

Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban is in Brussels (Thursday) for talks on the issue.

Correspondent Lindsey Hilsum is in Budapest and says the city has become a focal point for the crisis.
