The British government has asked the United Nations to impose sanctions against four high-profile British jihadists who are fighting or recruiting for Islamic State militants in Syria.
The four will now face travel bans and a freezing of assets in a move which is designed to deter other Britons from joining the militant group. From London, Catherine Drew reports.
