The United Nations says civilians continued to bear the brunt of the
Afghanistan conflict in the first half of 2015. A report out Monday by
the Assistance Mission in Afghanistan suggests causalities this year
are projected to equal or exceed numbers from 2014, with deaths of
innocent women and children on the rise.
