Search for man who shot journalist, cameraman in Virginia

Law enforcement are searching for a man who shot a journalist and her cameraman to death live on morning television, and also badly injured the woman being interviewed.

Alison Parker and Adama Ward worked for WDBJ-TV of Roanaoke, Virginia and were doing a story on water parks.

Jeffrey Marks is the General Manager of the television station.

Later in an interview with CNN, WDBJ General Manager Jeffrey Marks further confirmed that they know about the shooting and the deaths of Alison Parker and Adama Ward.

Later in an interview with CNN, WDBJ General Manager Jeffrey Marks said his station employees are trying to do their jobs as journalists while grieving.

He did not want to comment on the type of person who might shoot two journalists on live television.
