House Republicans have introduced a so-called 'resolution of disapproval' over the international nuclear deal with Iran, which would limit the U.S. President's ability to act.
The resolution means President Barack Obama could not temporarily waive most U.S. sanctions, until the Iran deal has been scrutinized by Congress, and the veto process is over.
Republicans need a two-thirds majority to over-ride the President's veto- which is why an intense lobbying effort is underway in Washington.
