City trader sentenced to 14 years in prison over rigging Libor

A former UK city trader has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for fixing the key Libor rate...

Tom Hayes was convicted of 8 charges in London for rigging the rate between 2006 and 2010 while working in Japan.

Hayes had originally confessed to the charges against him, but changed his plea in 2013 triggering a full trial...
